Sackville 20/20 is seeking an exceptional candidate to work with our Board as a Community-Supported Education Director. As part of the full-time, 2-year term, the Director will work closely with Sackville 20/20 as well as learners, educators and community partners to further implement and consolidate a vision of Sackville, NB, as a nationally significant integrated educational community. This position is supported by the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency.
During the next two years, the Coordinator’s responsibilities will include:
establishing a community asset map,
tracking engagement and collecting relevant data,
establishing and building on community partnerships and connections,
working with diverse stakeholders to create and implement strategic plans,
bringing stakeholders and community members together to further the vision of Sackville as an integrated educational community model in line with 21st Century educational values.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate proven ability to do the job outlined in the DESCRIPTION, will flourish and be creative in independent work, bring strength and innovation to team-based work, be capable of building and maintaining good relationships with community partners, and have a clear understanding, commitment and passion in working towards Sackville 20/20’s vision. Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills are essential.
Location: Sackville, New Brunswick.
